Andy Brown (b.1980) is an artist originally from the UK. He currently lives and work in Seoul, South Korea.

His work is inspired by his expatriate lifestyle, using the influences and inspiration from the countries he has traveled and worked in. Andy’s artwork looks at the roles of heroes, relationships, identity and cultural heritage in our lives. 

Andy Brown works using many different artistic mediums, reflecting his diverse interest in the visual world. From oil and acrylic paint, to photographs made using shoe boxes, or processes which are over 150 years old he creates work which is always seeking a deeper understanding from the world around him.  

Andy has exhibited widely across the UK and Korea. His work has gained recognition from Buckingham Palace, BBC television and radio, and other media outlets and publishers worldwide, including the makers of the board game Trivial Pursuit. Follow Andy Brown on Twitter @andybrownisanartist
